How does the ball press/briquette work?

In order to make the material into balls under high pressure, a pre-pressing screw is used to force the formed material into the middle of the rollers. Due to the constant speed reverse rotation, the material is compressed and formed. The unit pressure increases from small to large until the center line of the rollers “0-0”, and the forming unit pressure reaches the maximum value. As the rollers continue to rotate, the forming pressure continues to decrease, and the ball is released until the ball is released.

Among them, the main machine of the ball press is powered by an electromagnetic speed regulating motor, which is transmitted to the driving shaft through a pulley, a cylindrical gear reducer, and a rod pin coupling. The driving shaft and the driven shaft are synchronized by open gears. A hydraulic device is installed behind the passive bearing seat. The screw feeding device is driven by an electromagnetic speed regulating motor, which rotates through a pulley and a worm reducer to force the pressed material into the main feed port.

Due to the constant torque characteristics of the electromagnetic speed regulating motor, when the pressing amount of the screw feeder is equal to the amount of material required by the main machine, a constant feeding pressure can be maintained to stabilize the quality of the pellets. If the feeding amount is too large, the feeding device will be overloaded; if the feeding amount is too small, no ball will be formed.

Therefore, skilled operation skills are an important condition to ensure the normal operation of the energy-saving ball press.

The hydraulic protection device is a hydraulic pump that pumps high-pressure oil into the hydraulic cylinder to cause the piston to produce axial displacement. The front joint of the piston rod is against the bearing seat to meet the production pressure requirements.

When there is too much feeding between the two rollers or a metal block enters, the hydraulic cylinder piston rod is overloaded by pressure, the hydraulic pump will stop, the accumulator will buffer the pressure change, the overflow valve will open and return oil, and the piston rod will shift to increase the gap between the rollers so that hard objects can pass through the rollers.

The system pressure returns to normal and the rollers can be protected from damage.
