Diesel generator set is a complete set of equipment that uses diesel engine as prime mover to drive synchronous generator to generate electricity. It consists of core components such as diesel engine, generator, Sistema ng kontrol, cooling system, base, atbp. Diesel generator sets has compact design and strong power. Genset is widely used in power backup, mobile power supply, engineering construction and off-grid energy supply. It is a key equipment for responding to power outages or supplementary power supply needs in industrial, commercial and civil scenarios.

Diesel generator set converts chemical energy into mechanical energy by burning diesel, and then converts it into electrical energy. The specific process is as follows:
Diesel is atomized in the cylinder and mixed with air. It is burned by compression ignition to drive the piston movement to generate mechanical energy.
The rotation of the crankshaft of the diesel engine drives the generator rotor to rotate, cutting the magnetic flux lines to generate electromagnetic induction and output AC power.

How should a diesel engine generator set be maintained during operation?
After diesel generator sets has been in operation for a period of time, it should undergo regular inspections. Long-running units should be inspected every 6-8 Mga oras, and standby units should be inspected again after shutdown. Inspections can focus on the following areas: lubricating oil residue, air filter restriction indicator, coolant level, radiator and external ventilation status, engine drive belt assembly, and fuel supply status.
After every 50 hours of operation, drain the water from the oil-water separator and check the electrolyte level in the starting battery.
After 200-300 hours of operation, check the valve clearance and fuel injectors of a new generator set. After every 400 hours of operation, check and adjust the drive belt, replacing it if necessary. Check and clean the radiator chip, and drain any sludge from the fuel tank.
Replace the lubricating oil and oil filter every 600 hours of operation, or at least every 12 Mga buwan. The frequency of lubricating oil changes varies depending on the lubricant quality, fuel sulfur content, and lubricating oil consumption of the generator set.
Every 800 hours of operation, replace the oil-water separator and fuel filter, check the turbocharger for leaks, inspect the intake manifold for leaks, and inspect and clean the fuel lines.
After every 1200 hours of operation, adjust the valve clearance. Every 2000 hours of operation, replace the air filter and coolant, and thoroughly clean the radiator, radiator chip, and water channels.
After every 2400 hours of operation, check the fuel injectors, thoroughly inspect and clean the turbocharger, and perform a comprehensive inspection of the engine components.
