MTW grinding mill, full name MTW European version grinding mill, is a new type of grinding equipment developed by absorbing advanced European grinding technology and concepts. Traditional grinding mills require a reducer and a main shaft through a coupling. It is difficult to align the center during installation, which is easy to generate noise and reduce efficiency. The MTW series European trapezoidal grinding mills are bevel gear integral transmission, with a more compact structure, more convenient and quicker installation and adjustment, and greatly increased efficiency.
Traditional grinding mills are lubricated in the form of grease lubrication, which has large lubrication resistance, high temperature rise, and short bearing life. The MTW series European trapezoidal grinding mills use internal oil pumps, which can achieve lubrication of the main shaft bearings and bevel gear shaft bearings without adding additional oil pumps or lubrication stations.
The grinding mill air ducts in traditional grinding mills are all straight-plate air ducts. This structure has the disadvantages of airflow impacting the air duct plate to generate resistance, large energy loss of collision between airflow molecules, and easy generation of eddy currents, which leads to air duct blockage. The air ducts used in the MTW series European trapezoidal grinding mills are curved air ducts, with smooth tangential airflow inlets and small resistance. The internal outlet direction is conducive to the dispersion of materials and is not easy to block materials.

The blade of the traditional grinding machine scraper wears quickly. The scraper is an integral scraper. After the blade is worn, the scraper needs to be replaced as a whole, which wastes materials and increases downtime for replacement.
MTW series European trapezoidal grinding scrapers use highly wear-resistant alloy materials for the blade, which has a long service life. When replacing, only the blade part needs to be replaced, which improves material utilization.
In addition, the traditional flat scraper, after the material is scooped up, it accumulates on one level, causing serious wear in the middle of the grinding roller and grinding ring. The curved scraper can guide the material to the vertical surface,
so that the upper, middle and lower parts of the grinding roller and grinding ring can be ground, so that they are evenly worn, and at the same time, the effective working area is increased, thereby increasing production.
The isolation structure between the inner cylinder and the mixed gas powder flow can effectively improve the powder selection efficiency and powder selection accuracy.
Resistance-free air inlet volute (small observation door without eddy current): The inner surface of the inner door panel of the air inlet volute observation door of the traditional mill protrudes outwards and is not on the same plane as the inner surface of the air inlet volute, which is easy to produce eddy current effect and increase system energy consumption.
The MTW series European trapezoidal mill adopts the inner surface of the inner door panel and the inner surface of the air inlet volute on the same curved surface, which can effectively avoid the eddy current effect.
The working principle of MTW grinding mill (European version grinding mill) mainly includes the following steps:
Large bulk materials are first crushed to the required particle size by jaw crusher or hammer crusher, and then sent to the storage hopper by elevator.
The materials in the storage hopper are uniformly and quantitatively fed into the main grinding chamber by electromagnetic vibrating feeder or variable frequency belt feeder.
After the material enters the grinding chamber, the grinding roller is pressed tightly on the grinding ring under the action of centrifugal force. As the grinding roller rotates, the material is crushed by the strong grinding pressure between the grinding roller and the grinding ring. MTW grinding mill adopts bevel gear integral transmission, stable transmission and low energy loss.

The ground material is sent to the powder selector by the fan airflow for classification. Under the action of the impeller of the powder selector, materials that do not meet the fineness requirements will fall into the grinding chamber for re-grinding, while materials that meet the fineness requirements will enter the cyclone powder collector with the air flow through the pipeline.
Qualified materials are separated and collected in the cyclone powder collector, and the finished powder is discharged through the discharging device.
The separated air flow enters the fan through the return air duct at the upper end of the cyclone powder collector. The system belongs to a closed-loop circulation system and operates under positive and negative pressure conditions. Since the material being ground in the grinding chamber contains a certain amount of moisture, the heat generated during grinding will cause the gas in the grinding chamber to evaporate and expand, changing the air flow of the system. The excess gas is introduced into the bag dust collector through the exhaust pipe valve set at the air outlet of the fan, and discharged after purification, realizing environmentally friendly production.
