It plays an important role in energy utilization and industrial production. For the application of coal, it needs to be processed into a suitable particle size before application.
However, different equipment has strict requirements on the performance of materials when processing materials. So, do you know what kind of crushing equipment should be used to crush wet coal? .
The so-called wet coal refers to coal with a relatively high water content, usually with a total moisture content of more than 10%. The characteristics of coal are significantly different from those of ordinary dry coal. This material has the characteristics of high water content, high viscosity, high water holding capacity and low calorific value. Wet coal is difficult to process. Wet coal is prone to blockage and adhesion during crushing, screening, blending and other processing processes, and has high requirements for equipment. If the selected equipment is not suitable during processing, it is easy to cause blockage and other phenomena. So who is more suitable for processing wet coal?
Both jaw crushers and hammer crushers are suitable for materials with a moisture content of less than 15%. But the two working modes are different.
The jaw crusher is a driven extrusion type, consisting of two jaw plates, a moving jaw and a static jaw, to form a crushing chamber, simulating the movement of two jaws of an animal to complete the material crushing operation;

The wet coal crusher hammer crusher mainly relies on the impact force of the hammer to crush the material. At the same time, the material enters the machine from the upper feed port and is crushed by the impact, collision, shearing and grinding of the high-speed moving hammer.
Secondly, the feeding and discharging of the jaw crusher are different from those of the hammer crusher. Specifically, the jaw wet coal crusher is suitable for a feed particle size of 1200mm and has a wedge-shaped adjustment discharge port. The finished product particle size adjustment range is 10-350mm, and the particle size is uniform, which is conducive to secondary crushing processing;

The hammer wet coal crusher is suitable for a feed particle size of 1200mm. By changing the cavity type, coarse, medium and fine crushing can be achieved. The finished product is 3-60mm, without flakes, the blank is smooth, multi-angular, and the compressive strength is guaranteed. It is especially suitable for highways, construction and large-scale engineering materials.
Third, the output of jaw crusher is different from that of hammer crusher. The output of jaw crusher is 1-1000 tons per hour, the crushing chamber is deep, there is no dead zone, and the feeding capacity and output are improved. The flywheel design effectively reduces vibration, the machine runs more stably and the efficiency is higher.
The output of hammer crusher is 80-3000 tons per hour, which can achieve one-time crushing and molding, without the need for secondary crushing and molding process, with high production efficiency and greatly reduced cost.
In addition, the configuration of jaw crusher and hammer crusher in wet coal production line is different. Generally speaking, jaw crusher is often used as a coarse crusher and is in the head breaking position in wet coal production line. Hammer crusher is a one-time molding equipment, which realizes the short process of wet coal production process and does not need to be equipped with two or three crushing equipment.
Roller crusher can also process wet coals. Roller crusher crushes materials by the extrusion between two relatively rotating cylinders. Roller crusher performs well in processing wet coal and can effectively overcome the problems of wet coal adhesion and agglomeration. Its crushing chamber is deep, which can accommodate more wet coal and improve the crushing efficiency. It is easy to operate, has low maintenance cost, and generates less dust during the crushing process.
When crushing wet coal, the double-stage crusher adopts the method of connecting the upper and lower rotors in series, and the material is crushed multiple times between the two-stage rotors. When crushing wet coal, it is not afraid of wet stickiness and blockage, and the finished product has fine particle size, which is particularly suitable for crushing high-humidity materials. The double-stage crusher has the characteristics of high production efficiency, good crushing effect, fine material output, and a wide range of finished product particle size.
